Cricket Trophies and Medals Geraldton: A Presentation Night Guide

Cricket clubs often need a mix of major trophies, grade awards, junior participation medals, perpetual updates and one-off sponsor or memorial awards. Before choosing products, write down the grades, award names, quantities, presentation date and whether each award needs a name, team, season or sponsor included. That makes it much easier to choose a consistent trophy range instead of ordering one item at a time and hoping the set looks right together.

Best and fairest, champion player, batting aggregate, bowling aggregate, junior champion and club person of the year usually deserve more presence than standard team awards. Put those major awards in their own section of the order. Team awards, participation medals, coach awards and smaller junior trophies can then be matched to a budget-friendly range while still fitting the same club presentation style.

Cricket award wording can include grade names, initials, sponsors, wickets, runs, averages and memorial trophy names. Small wording differences matter when the same award is repeated year after year. Send the exact engraving text in a spreadsheet where possible, including punctuation, apostrophes and capital letters. If an award has a historical name on a shield or board, send a photo of the existing plate so the new plate can match the established wording.

Medals are often the most practical option for junior teams, carnival presentations and participation awards. They are easier to keep consistent across age groups and can usually be paired with club colours or a simple engraved plate or printed centre. If the budget is tight, use medals for broader recognition and reserve trophies or plaques for the major award winners.

Perpetual shields and cups should come in well before presentation week, especially if several plates need to be updated or an old shield needs tidy-up work. Bring the shield in if possible. Photos help, but having the item in the workshop lets staff check plate size, spacing, screw positions and whether older plates are loose or inconsistent.

Send the club name, presentation date, required collection date, award list, quantities, budget range, logo files and photos of any perpetual trophies. If you have used Geraldton Trophy Centre before, mention that the club wants to match or repeat last season where practical. Past order history can save time and keep this year’s awards consistent.
